Turkey Day

I hope everyone had an awesome kick ass time with their families for turkey day.. I spent a few days back in my hometown Marion Ohio.. first night home I went out with some friends of mine I havnt seen in a long ass time, we started our night out at some rinky dink bar in waldo ohio singing kareokee music.. it was ALL country music, and not even "ok i can handle this" country music, but like sad slow love song country music.. "You took my dog, my heart and my truck.." So after 30mins of suicide ballads we relocated our party to the buffalo wild wings and it was like a high school reunion.. confession time.. alot of people think im an asshole, and it def showed that night.. ive never been a dick to anybody but on the other hand ive never been one to like come up to people and be all friendly if i dont really know you that well.. and i thnk people confuse that with being an asshole.. so alot of people were NOT talking to me lol oh well it happens i guess, i cant really change that.. so after being ignored by half the population there we moved the party to a little bar packed with about 200 plus people it was insane, everyone from b dubbs plus 100 showed up at this bar and i almost lost my voice screaming over the music and people but it was all the same questions, i hate that awkward questions "How have you been" "where ya working now" "did your brother end up getting deported?" same questions to 100 people gets old quick.. ended the night like an awesome night should be ended.. DENNYS at 3am, called some old friends and ate some delicious breakfast food (sike).. is everyone at dennys one egg omlet away from suicide?! honestly everyone there was two beers away from a coma.. got some sleep at 5am, woke up at 9am took a shower ate some food with the family and drove home got cleaned up and headed to the funnybone to watch one of my comedy heros, Michael Loftus! An awesome comic, if your a columbus comic you must go check him out one night, its like a rule of comedy hes amazing.. long blog for a short two days.. heres a link to my video blog.. check it out! 11-19-06 Nervous

Im sick, im nervous im sick of being nervous... im doing a guest set for a very improtant person tonight.. guest sets in the career of comic are kinda like job interviews for the working people.. we put together 7-10 mins of our best stuff and have the owner or booker watch us do it in front of a crowd and boom! If they like ya they hire you to do other things, if they dont they sorry charlie your out of luck for a long time. Alot of bookers wont look at you again for at least a year. Ive been sick for past couple days, sneezing, coughing, heat flashes, perfect timing.. i have this huge guest set tonight and i have to host a show in akron Ohio monday night.. things just arnt going well, i feel like shit, i look like shit and i just have a bad feeling about it in general.. hopefully you read another posting saying the went well and im an idiot for worrying, but anything can happen, you never know.

Yes this is really me, and my blog.. im gonna try and change my journal page to a blog page.. hopefully im smart enough to work it.. im in the learning stage right now.. so fingers crossed people...

10-02-06 : The past couple nights have been interesting and ALOT of fun... I taught again tonight at the local high school, it was an improv class no worries America your kids future is not in hands lol... The group of kids is alot of FUN to work with, they arnt what I expected, they jump into scenes, they listen, they follow directions its crazy, and they are there on a volunteer basis..

Last night was crazy.. I was booked in Miami, OH.. not FL i got a few emails from ppl yelling at me from FL asking me why I didnt let them know I was in town... bc well, I WASNT lol... So its a 3 hour drive which isnt shit compared to where I have to be next month so I somehow convinced my GF to join me in this journey.. she was my navigator without her I would prolly end up in Utah.. Jay (www.jayhendren.com) told me once that Im gonna be the worst road comic ever bc my ass goes numb after an hour in the car and I have NO sense of direction.. I think hes right lol... So I get there and did the show at first there were only like 8 ppl there.. I was like awesome I just drove for 3 hours for 8 ppl..SWEET! But the place filled up, almost all the seats were full, I played with Troy Hammond (www.troyhammond.com) and Patrick Spring (dosnt have a link).. both really great comics check'em out live if you ever get a chance... then on the way back my GF passed out in the back seat and I was stuck finding my way home...in the dark... It was like a horrible Goosbumps Book that never got written... I'd call it, uh, "The Car Who Drove Itself" bc I really dont know how I got home.. And that is my BORING little story for tonight.. Ive been trying to motovate myself to blog more often so this is my attempt.. hope you enjoyed it.
